Dental Treatment: Emergency Dental Treatment

When your child needs urgent dental treatment, for example, when your child’s tooth is knocked out or injured, or when your child has a toothache, we stand ready to help!  Please call us and explain the situation and we are committed to take care of your emergency situation on the same day.

Trauma: Soft Tissue Injuries after local anesthesia

Freezing is often used in your child's mouth during treatment to ensure his/her comfort. Your child's mouth can still be numbed for 2-3 hours after treatment. During this period, he/she can bite on his/her lips and cheeks and cause severe injuries. Please avoid any chewing until the freezing disappears.

If soft tissue injuries occurs after treatment, please put ice pack around the injured area. Please give tylenol to your child for pain management. Contact your dentist to arrange for a follow up appointment.
